H.E.R.M.E.S. (Holistic Educational Reinforcement Method for Effective Self-Study), inspired by Hermes, the Greek god of communication. This methodology integrates listening, reading, writing, structured thinking, and active speaking preparation, supporting learners in building confidence and autonomy in language use.

I developed the HERMES Language Learning Method ®, a framework designed to help learners build vocabulary, grammar awareness, and communication skills through meaningful practice and repetition. My approach focuses on practical communication and structured learning paths that help students move from recognition to real language use.

 H.E.R.M.E.S

H — Have It in Sentences
Put words into sentences, not randomly.
Don’t memorize vocabulary lists. Place every new word inside a sentence so you see how it works, how it sounds, and how it connects to real meaning & communication.

E — Engage Actively
Learning happens when you participate.
Through lessons, self-study, and real-life input, you stay in contact with Greek every day.Even a few minutes a day make a difference — what matters is staying connected.

R — Replay It
Return to the material and run it again.
Language needs repetition. Revisit dialogues, exercises, and vocabulary regularly so the brain strengthens memory and recognition.

M — Mix Your Sources
Learn the same topic from different inputs.
Use videos, reels, podcasts, dialogues, and short texts. Seeing the same idea from multiple sources helps your brain recognize patterns and understand faster.

E — Expand Outside
Take the language beyond the lesson.
Use what you ‘ve learned in real life. Say a sentence to a friend, write a message, notice the word in daily situations or in shops and transportation. Language grows when it leaves the textbook.

S — Stack Your Skills
Build skills in the right order.
First listen, then read, move to writing, and finally speaking. Each skill supports the next one, it’s necessary steps which creating a strong and natural learning progression.
